Other Vocabucasting Logistics

• Randy Kolset's Vocabucasting assignments are done twice a month.
• Students always have three words to define. 
• Students gather images from books, drawings and digital images, both from school and at home.
• Drawings can be scanned in or use Photo Booth or a digital camera to take a photo of them.
• Assign student identification numbers to each child. 
• Have students save files with their student number and the word.  Example: 02tornado.m4a
• Students can upload their file to a designated public server or can use thumb drive. 
• The teacher adds student files to IWEB because only one iWeb account can be used.
• Turn-around time for posting all student work is about two hours

Note that although Apple products are designed to integrate with eachother, they do not

integrate for collaborative group work coming from many sources. Hence, the need to upload

all files to one teacher IWEB account.
